These two weeks in April, you’re either at Coachella or you have like an extra $45,423,411,312 dollars in your bank account. Because that’s how much it costs to go there, right? After tickets, hotel, travel, food, some party favors…if you know what I mean. Anyways, I was one of the many avoiding the festival last weekend and I will be doing the same this time around. I’ve gone once in the past, and I was not impressed. It’s too hot, too expensive and for me, there are not enough bands there I care for. Hell, I’m over paying for a Warped Tour ticket. Anyways, if you’re going to Coachella – please do enjoy the music you paid out the ass for. There’s no point in going just to go, especially when it costs that much.
Now from a festival, to some tours. James Bay announced he was heading back out in September for a fall run. He’ll start in Canada and end up in Kansas City come early October. Heading out a little earlier than that is See Through Dresses. They’ll get on the road next week in Denver on April 29 at Hi Dive. Right around the time they end in Colorado, Polyenso will be starting their own run in Nashville on May 15, and they’ll be playing up until June 3 when they end up in Columbus.
